Who We Are
MAZTECH Consulting and Skills Development Company was established and registered as a CC in February 2008 in Mafikeng, North West Province. The Meat Inspection Services Division (MIS) of this company was set up to address the need by the meat (abattoir) industry for alternative meat inspection service providers.
MAZTECH is owned by two people, the first one being Dr. Kennam Mazengera who is a qualified veterinarian registered with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC). He has a wide experience in diverse aspects of veterinary science, training, and livestock development programmes, in addition to lecturing and research experience at the tertiary level. He has also worked in the Departments of Agriculture in Limpopo, Eastern Cape, and North West Province as a State Veterinarian, Deputy Director of Veterinary Services (Livestock Improvement, Veterinary Public Health, and Animal Health). The second owner Bruce Mazengera who is the Operations Manager. He has a Master's degree in Computer Sciences and has worked in the Telecomunications industry under the IT department
The objective of MAZTECH (MIS) is to provide an efficient, reliable and high quality independent meat inspection service to the meat industry in South Africa, as well as to provide skills development programmes in ICT, Livestock Development and Animal Health.
